Реферат: 7399. Geary, E. A. April 10. Moulding wax.-Relates to a machine for artificially producing honeycomb of various sections for the use of bees in storing honey. The machine is shown in part in Fig. 13. Two boxes A, for containing the melted wax, slide in grooves on the frame C, and are actuated towards and from each other by links operated by a pivoted lever D. The outer sides of the boxes A are movable, and are operated by gearing, not shown, from a shaft M<2>, which is driven from a main shaft F by belt gearing having a belt-shifting lever H. The inner sides of the boxes A are formed as dies T, through which the wax is expressed to form the combs. The combs are formed upon a foundation sheet of vulcanite, wax, or the like suspended from a clip A' hung on cords B<1>.
