NEW USE OF ORGANIC COMPOUNDS
RK 395,362 B the Erf'mdung concerns a procedure for the fight against Schnittwundparasiten on plants and/or the diseases (S chnittwundkrankheiten) these parasites with plants causes and preparations, which are suitable for such use.
Schnittwundparasiten are Fungi or bacteria, which parasiüeren Sclmittwunden of wood-like plants, which can lead to loss or damage of such plants. An important Schnittwundparasit is Eutypa armenica, a Fungus of the family of the Ascomycetes, also Eutypa admits lata under the name (see B. Dubos et al., to Phytoma, Defense of the cultures, July August 1980, pages 13-15 and A. Bolay, revue Suisse de Vitie. Arboric.
Hortic. 16, 265-273 (1984). The mushroom illness caused by E. lata is called in the following Eutypiose.
Different connections such as Benoclanil, Bitertanol, Triadimenol, Triadimefon, Captafol, Pyracarbolid and in particular fungicides of the Benzimidazol Stmkturklasse such as Carbendazim were suggested and/or used for the fight against Schnittwundparasiten. These connections could not prevent however a dramatic spreading of these parasites.
It was now found that the connections of the formula I c1 C - cH2 - N/“I R where X for H or CI and R for Butyl, 1-Cyclopropyl-ethyl or 1-Cyclopropyl-l-methyl-ethyl to stand, particularly well for the fight and/or prevention of Schnittwundkrankheiten are suitable.
If R stands for Butyl, it means in particular n-butyl or tert. Butyl.
Preferential connections of the formula I are the connection of the formula I where X for chlorine and R for n-butyl stand (Hexaconazol) and the connection of the formula I where X for H and R for 1-Cyclopropyl1 - methyl - ethyl stand (Cyproconazol).
The connections of the formula I are used appropriately in free form or in the form of an acid addition salt acceptable in rural economy.
The connections of the formula I are well-known fungicides. She was not suggested so far however for the fuel element “fighting of Schnittwundkrankheiten and/or the Eutypiose.
The connections of the formula I and in particular Cyproconazol are particularly effective against schnittwundparasitierende Fungi and bacteria of perennial plants. So they can against Cylindrocarpon Mali on fruit trees, Cytospora cincta on Pfirsichbäumen, Erwinia amylovora on fruit trees, Pseudomonas syringae and spp. on Obstbaumen, Agrobaeterium tumefaciens on common grape vines, Erwinia vitivora on common grape vines, Stereum hirsutum on common grape vines and Eutypa lata on fruit trees and common grape vines to be inserted.
The connections of the formula I can be used from there for the fight against Schnittwundkrankheiten in particular by Eutypiose, on perennial plants, be cut first during the vegetative rest period by the Obstoder the flower yield to increase and/or the yield quality improve.
The invention concerns therefore a procedure for the fight against Schnittwundkrankheiten with plants, thereby characterized that one parasitize-ends Fungi effective quantity of a connection of the formula I to the cuts against appliziert.
Examples by perennial plants according to the procedure according to invention to be treated can are fruit plants such as apricot, Mango, plum, Pfirsisch, apple, pear, cherry, Quitte, black one, red one or white currant, Walnuß, fig, Kakipflaume and elder, perennial gärmerische cultures, ornamental plants, rose cultures and in particular common grape vines.
The connections of the formula I can and will appropriately in combination with other fungicides, e.g.
with contact contacts such as Folpet, Thiram or copper fungicides, and in particular with Benzimidazol fungicides such as Benomyl and Carbendazim, in particular with Carbendazim, appliziert.
Suitable bactericidal ones can be admitted likewise. Examples by bactericidal one, those in combination with the connections to be that-formally used know are organischeßakterizide wießlasticidin, Cycloheximid, Griseofulvin, Kanigamycin, Oxytettaylin, Streptomycin, Validamycin, Oxine copper, Nilrapyrin, Dithianon NaPyrion, Calvinphos, Flumequin undbakterizidequatemäre Ammoninmsalze wieCetyl trimethylammoniumchlorid.
In the procedure according to invention the connections of the formula I, and/or their mixtures with other fungicides and/or bactericidal ones are used appropriately in form fungicides of a preparation.
Such preparations know 395,362 B ME on actually well-known way, e.g. by mixing a connection of the ForAT! I and aUfälliger additional Wkkstoffe with suitable formulation aids such as solvents and if necessary further Zus, corrode like boundary surface-active substances, pigments, thick etc. to be received.
The Appllkation of such preparations to the cuts should take place with largest care, so that all cuts are essentially treated. The preparations should in addition also a sufficient Hafffestigkeit exhibit, so that they will not abgewaehen from rains and also thereby them as agents for free bruises against infections to protect to be able.
Sprayoder S deaf applications might not always lead to the desired results. A more appropriate and more effective kind of application is with the help of one building-decays Reschere (designated herein briefly than Banmschere), which by a container provided isL the one preparation of the desired Aküvsnbstanz (EN) contains, and to which container the formulation is removed during cutting, on one or both shears blade anfgebraeht and over a suitable surface from it distributed. Different containers equipped with such device are from the literature admit (e.g. see the FR-A1-8510206). The formulations suggested so far for such kind of application possess however all certain-eight-hurry like unsuitable viscosity, insufficient adhesive strength etc.
The available invention concerns formulations, which are suitable particularly well for the application by means of above-defined pruning shears.
These preparations contained a) an effective quantity for the fight against Sehnittwundparasiten of suitable fungicide and/or bactericidal, and b) an oily, thixotropes, hydrophobes, non-phytotoxic medium and is water-free.
The expression, thixotrop " refers to in medium, which is viscous, if in peace and is liquid, if under the influence of mechanical forces, e.g. by vibrating or if under pressure.
The oily, thixotrope, hydrophobe, non-phytotoxic medium consists essentially of a nichtphytotoxisehen, hydrophoben oil and one not phytotoxisehen, thixotropen additive.
The nieht phytotoxic, hydrophobe oil can e.g. be a mineral oil, a vegetable oil, an animal oil, a synthetic oil, or a mixture of it.
Examples of suitable mineral oils are vaseline and paraffin oil. Examples of suitable vegetable oils sindErdnu -, Croton, coffee, Rizinns, almond, walnuß, Palm, coconut, flax, poppy, olive, Traubenkeruen, sesam, hemp, corn germ, Sonnenblnmen, soy bean, rape, and BaumwollesamenOl, as well as mixtures of it.
Examples of suitable animal oils are Fischöle, Kabeljauleberöl, seal oil, whale oil and ox leg oil.
Examples of suitable synthetic oils are hydrogenated oils or mixtures of it with a epoxydierten vegetable oil or with mixtures of epoxydierten vegetable oils. Further examples more suitably hydrophoben oils cover dessikante oils and silicone oils.

If the hydrophobe oil is a vegetable oil, or a derivative of it, is preferably the vegetable oil Sonnenblumen61 or corn germ oil.
The thixotrope additive is appropriately a thick, which forms a thixotropes, oily, hydrophobes, not phytotoxisehes medium with the hydrophoben oil. The thick can be natural, artificial, semi synthetic or synthetic origin.
Examples of suitable natural thick cover Magnesiumhydroxid, Bentonittone and colloidal silica.
Example of suitable thick of animal origin are Eialbumin, blood albumin, Kasein, bone glue and skin glue.
Examples of suitable thick of vegetable origin cover stärkehaltige products such as corn strength and vegetable rubbers such as Gummiarabikum, Xanthangummi, Tragantgnmmi, carob flour rubber and from Cyamopsis tetragonolaba won rubber. Examples more suitably more artificially or semi synthetic thick are received modified strength products like acid-modified strength, oxidized strength, easily veruetzte strength by reaction with Ethylenoxid, verätherte strength, carboxmethylierte strength, methylierte strength, hydroxyethylierte strength, strength dismantling products, verätherte cellulose such as Methylzellulose, Carboxymethylzellulose, Methylhydroxyethylzellulose, Hydroxyethylzellulose and Hydroxypropylmethylzellulose.
Example-suitable of synthetic thick being polymere products wiePolyvinylalkoholeundPolyacrylsäure.
Particularly suitable thick are inorganic thick, in particular colloidal silica, preferably pyrogene colloidal silica.
The weight ratio between the thixotropen additive and the hydrophoben oil lies appropriately between 0.1 • 99,9 and 1: 9, in particular between 0.5: 99.5 and 1: 15, preferably between 1: 99 and 1:
