PROCESS FOR THERMO-ADHESIVE BONDING OF SEMI-FINISHED PRODUCTS

MAC1P13CA ABSTRACT A process for thermo-adhesive bonding of semi-finished products comprises: preparing an inner sock (5), an outer sock (4) and an impermeable membrane (6) provided with a thermo-adhesive disposed on an inner surface and/or an outer surface of the membrane (6); fitting the inner sock (5) onto a rigid reference shape (9); fitting the membrane (6) over the inner sock (5); fitting the outer sock (4) over the membrane (6); heating the outer sock (4), the membrane (6) and the inner sock (5) arranged on the rigid reference shape (9) in an oven (12) until at least partial melting of the thermo-adhesive; cooling the outer sock (4), the membrane (6) and the inner sock (5) arranged on the rigid reference shape (9) until cross-linking of the thermo-adhesive and stable bonding of the membrane (6) to the outer sock (4) and/or the inner sock (5). Exerting a substantially uniform pressure on the outer sock (4), the membrane (6) and the inner sock (5) disposed on the rigid reference shape (9) during cooling, so as to compact them.
