Provided is a liquid crystal alignment layer of which a constituent member is a compound represented by general formula (I).



1. A compound, characterized in that by the general formula (I) shown in,

A expressed is selected from the group consisting of the following (a), (b), (c) the group in the group consisting of,

(A) trans -1, 4-cyclohexyl, in the group 1 of a non-adjacent methylene or 2 or more methylene can be-O-, -NH-or-S-substituted,

(B) 1, 4-phenylene, in the group 1 or 2 of-CH= more than can be-N= substituted,

(C) 1, 4-jaya cyclohexenyl, 2, 5- sulfo- Asia phenyl, 2, 5-furyl, 1, 4-bicyclo (2.2.2) octene base , naphthalene -1, 4-diyl, naphthalene -2, 6-diyl, decahydronaphthalene -2, 6-diyl, 1, 2, 3, 4-tetrahydronaphthalene -2, 6-diyl,

The above-mentioned group (a), group (b) or group (c) are non-substituted or more than one hydrogen atom may be a fluorine atom, chlorine atom, cyano, methyl or methoxy substituted,

R said 0, 1 or 2, r expressed 2, , A of the plurality can be the same or different,

X and Y are each independently represents a hydrogen atom, a fluorine atom, chlorine atom, cyano or carbon atom number 1-20 alkyl, can be of the hydrogen atoms of the alkyl is substituted by fluorine atom, 1 a CH2 yl or 2 or more non-neighboring CH2 base can be-O-, -CO-O-, -O-CO-and/or-CH=CH-substituted,

Z represents general formula (IIa) or (IIb),

R1 and R2 are respectively independently represent a hydrogen atom or a straight-chain or branched carbon atom number 1-30 alkyl, R1 and R2 of the in 1 a-CH2-group or 2 or more non-neighboring -CH2-base can be-O-, -CO-, -CO-O-, -O-CO-, -CO-NH-, -NH-CO-, -NCH3-, -CH=CH-, -CF=CF-and/or-C≡C-substituted, R1 and R2 of the in 1 or 2 or more-CH2-base can be respectively independently is link number 3-8 cycloalkyl substituted, R1 and R2 can be of the hydrogen atom in the carbon atom number 1-20 alkyl, cyano or halogen atom substituted.

2. Compound according to Claim 1, wherein in general formula (IIa) or (IIb),

R1 shows straight-chain or branched carbon atom number 1-30 alkyl, said alkyl in the 1 a-CH2-group or 2 or more non-neighboring -CH2-base is-O-, -CO-, -CO-O-, -O-CO-, -CO-NH-, -NH-CO-, -NCH3-substituted, said alkyl in the 1 or 2 more-CH2-base can be respectively independently is link number 3-8 substituted cycloalkyl, the hydrogen atom in the alkyl group may be the carbon atom number 1-20 alkyl, cyano or halogen atom substituted,

R2 shows straight-chain or branched carbon atom number 1-30 alkyl, said alkyl in the 1 or 2 more-CH2-base can be respectively independently is link number 3-8 cycloalkyl substituted, hydrogen atom of said alkyl in the non-substituted or can be the carbon atom number 1-20 alkyl, cyano or halogen atom substituted.

3. Compound as in Claim 1 or Claim 2, wherein in the general formula (IIa) or (IIb), R1 expressed by the general formula (IIc),

In the formula (IIc), dashed-line said key towards oxygen atom or nitrogen atom,

W1 said methylene, -CO-O-or-CO-NH-, the methylene hydrogen atoms is a non-substituted or can be the carbon atom number 1-5 alkyl substituted,

R3 represents a hydrogen atom or a carbon atom number 1-5 alkyl,

R4 shows straight-chain or branched carbon atom number 1-20 alkyl, said alkyl in the 1 a-CH2-group or 2 or more non-neighboring -CH2-base is-O-, -CO-, -CO-O-, -O-CO-, -CO-NH-, -NH-CO-, -NCH3-substituted, said alkyl in the 1 or 2 more-CH2-base can be respectively independently is link number 3-8 cycloalkyl substituted, the non-hydrogen atom of the alkyl group can be substituted or by fluorine atom or chlorine atom substituted.

4. Compound according to Claim 1, wherein in general formula (IIa) or (IIb),

R1 shows straight-chain or branched carbon atom number 1-30 alkyl, said alkyl in the 1 a-CH2-group or 2 or more non-neighboring -CH2-base is-CH=CH-, -CF=CF-and/or-C≡C-substituted, said alkyl in the 1 or 2 more-CH2-base can be respectively independently is link number 3-8 substituted cycloalkyl, the hydrogen atom in the alkyl group may be the carbon atom number 1-20 alkyl, cyano or halogen atom substituted,

R2 shows straight-chain or branched carbon atom number 1-30 alkyl, said alkyl in the 1 or 2 more-CH2-base can be respectively independently is link number 3-8 cycloalkyl substituted, hydrogen atom of said alkyl in the non-substituted or can be the carbon atom number 1-20 alkyl, cyano or halogen atom substituted.

5. Compound as in Claim 1 or Claim 4, wherein in the general formula (IIa) or (IIb), R1 expressed by the general formula (IId)-(IIg),

W2 represents a single bond, -CH2-, -CO-O-or-CO-NH-,

R7 represents a hydrogen atom or a carbon atom number 1-5 alkyl,

R8 represents a hydrogen atom, straight-chain or branched carbon atom number 1-20 alkyl, said alkyl in the 1 or 2 more-CH2-base can be respectively independently is link number 3-8 cycloalkyl substituted, hydrogen atom of said alkyl in the non-substituted or can by fluorine atom or chlorine atom substituted,

R5 expresses a carbon atom number 1-20 alkyl, can be of the hydrogen atoms of the alkyl is substituted by fluorine atom,

R6 expresses a carbon atom number 1-20 alkyl, said alkyl in the 1 a-CH2-group or 2 or more non-neighboring -CH2-base is-CH=CH-, -CF=CF-and/or-C≡C-substituted, said alkyl in the 1 or 2 more-CH2-base can be respectively independently is link number 3-8 cycloalkyl substituted, hydrogen atom of said alkyl in by fluorine atom or a chlorine atom can be substituted.

6. Compound as in any one of Claims 1-5, wherein formula (I) in, Sp expressed by the following formula (IVa),

(C) 1, 4-jaya cyclohexenyl, 2, 5- sulfo- Asia phenyl, 2, 5-furyl, 1, 4-bicyclo (2.2.2) octene base , naphthalene -1, 4-diyl, naphthalene -2, 6-diyl, decahydronaphthalene -2, 6-diyl, 1, 2, 3, 4-tetrahydronaphthalene -2, 6-diyl,

The above-mentioned group (a), group (b) or group (c) are non-substituted or more than one hydrogen atom may be a fluorine atom, chlorine atom, cyano, methyl or methoxy substituted,

P and q are respectively independently represent 0 or 1.

7. Compound according to Claim 1, wherein in general formula (IIa) or (IIb),

R1 represents a hydrogen atom or straight-chain or branched carbon atom number 1-30 alkyl, said alkyl in the 1 or 2 more-CH2-base can be respectively independently is link number 3-8 substituted cycloalkyl, the hydrogen atom in the alkyl group may be the carbon atom number 1-20 alkyl, cyano or halogen atom substituted,

R2 shows straight-chain or branched carbon atom number 1-30 alkyl, said alkyl in the 1 or 2 more-CH2-base can be respectively independently is link number 3-8 cycloalkyl substituted, hydrogen atom of said alkyl in the non-substituted or can be the carbon atom number 1-20 alkyl, cyano or halogen atom substituted,

And the general formula (I) in, expressed by formula Sp (IVc),

In formula (IVc), Z1, Z2, Z3, and A2 meaning expressed in the general formula (IVa) is the same as the meaning of, A7 expressed is selected from the group consisting of 1, 4-phenylene, 1, 4-jaya cyclohexenyl, 2, 5- sulfo- Asia phenyl, 2, 5-furyl, 1, 4-bicyclo (2.2.2) octene base , naphthalene -1, 4-diyl, naphthalene -2, 6-diyl, decahydronaphthalene -2, 6-diyl, 1, 2, 3, 4-tetrahydronaphthalene -2, 6-diyl group consisting of group, wherein 1, 4-phenylene in the presence of 3 or more-CH= is-N= substituted, these groups are non-substituted or more than one hydrogen atom may be a fluorine atom, chlorine atom, cyano, methyl or methoxy substituted,

P expressed 1, q expressed 1 or 2, q expressed 2, , a plurality of existing A2 and Z3 can be the same also can be different.

8. Compound according to Claim 1, wherein in general formula (IIa) or (IIb),

R1 shows straight-chain or branched carbon atom number 1-30 alkyl, said alkyl in the 1 or 2 more-CH2-be independently separately link number 3-8 substituted cycloalkyl, the hydrogen atom in the alkyl group may be the carbon atom number 1-20 alkyl, cyano or halogen atom substituted,

R2 shows straight-chain or branched carbon atom number 1-30 alkyl, said alkyl in the 1 or 2 more-CH2-base can be respectively independently is link number 3-8 cycloalkyl substituted, hydrogen atom of said alkyl in the non-substituted or can be the carbon atom number 1-20 alkyl, cyano or halogen atom substituted,

And the general formula (I) in, expressed by formula Sp (IVb),

In the formula (IVb), Z1, Z2, Z3, A2, p and meaning expressed q the general formula (IVa) is the same as the meaning of, A8 for trans -1, 4-cyclohexyl and 1, 4-phenylene, wherein trans -1, 4-cyclohexyl group in the presence of 1 methylene, or a non-adjacent a 2 more methylene can be-O-, -NH-or-S-substituted, 1, 4-phenylene in the presence of 1 or 2-can be-N= CH= substituted, these groups are non-substituted or more than one hydrogen atom may be a fluorine atom, chlorine atom, cyano, methyl or methoxy substituted.

9. Compound as in any one of Claims 1-8, wherein formula (I) in, the general formula is selected from the group consisting of said L (III-1)-(III-17) in the group consisting of any one of the substituents,

10. Compound as in any one of Claims 1-9, wherein formula (I) in, X and Y represents a hydrogen atom.

Compound as in any one of Claims 6-8, wherein the general formula (IVa), (IVb) and in (IVc), A2 said trans -1, 4-cyclohexyl, 2, 6-naphthylene, pyridine -2, 5-diyl, pyrimidine -2, 5-diyl, or 1, 4-phenylene in any one group, in any of a group of one or more hydrogen atom may be a fluorine atom, chlorine atom, methyl or methoxy substituted, Z3 represents a single bond, -(CH2)u-, -OCH2-, -CH2 O-, -COO-, -OCO-, -CH=CH-or-C≡C-in any one group, -(CH2)u-in the formula, expressed u 1-20, in any of a group of one or more non-neighboring CH2 base can be independently is-O-, -CO-, -CO-O-, -O-CO-, -CH=CH-or-C≡C-substituted, said q 1.

13. Compound as in any one of Claims 1-12, wherein formula (I) in, expressed A more than one hydrogen atom may be a fluorine atom, a chlorine atom, a methyl group or a methoxy-substituted 1, 4-phenylene.

14. Compound as in any one of Claims 6-13, wherein the general formula (IVa), (IVb) and in (IVc), A2 expressed more than one hydrogen atom may be a fluorine atom, a chlorine atom, a methyl group or a methoxy-substituted 1, 4-phenylene.

15. Compound as in any one of Claims 1-14, wherein formula (I) in, represented by the formula L (III-1) or (III-2) expressed.

16. According to Claim 7, 9-15 any one said compound, wherein in the general formula (IVc), A7 said 2, 6-naphthylene, said 2, 6-naphthylene, more than one in the hydrogen atom may be a fluorine atom, chlorine atom, methyl or methoxy substituted.

17. A polymer, characterized in that the containing claim 1-16 to any one of the compound to form the condensate of the composite, the fixing compound having the general formula (PI) of the structure unit shown in,
