Therapeutic compositions effective as diuretics, pseudocholinesterase inhibiting agents, bactericides, cholesterol lowering agents, coccidiostats and anorexic agents comprise compounds of the above formula where n and R are as defined above or their acid addition salts with inorganic or organic acids in combination with pharmaceutical carriers, excipients, solvents or vehicles for administration as tablets, powders, capsules or as solutions or suspensions for oral or parenteral administration.
