In the two roller embodiment both rollers lie on the same plane which is at or near the horizontal. The roll blade coating method according to claim 1 , wherein the air pressure of each of the air cylinders arranged in the vicinity of both ends of the web in the width direction is adjusted to an air pressure lower than the average air pressure of the other operating air cylinders.3. The second volume is less than the first and third volumes. When the elastic strand is adhered to a substrate to form a personal disposable hygiene product, the first and third portions of the elastic strand define opposing ends of the elastic strand, which are adhered with a larger amount of adhesive to resist creep at the opposing ends. The reduction of adhesive in the second or central portion between the opposing ends significantly reduces the adhesive add on in the personal disposable hygiene product.

A reclaim sealer supply is coupled to the first fluid flow path. Valves open and close the virgin sealer supply and the reclaim sealer supply to alternately supply virgin sealer or reclaim sealer to the applicator. Whenever the first fluid flow path contains reclaim sealer, a valve blocks flow to the recirculation path to prevent reclaim sealer from being recirculated into the source of virgin sealer. 1. A hot melt system is described which includes a container of hot melt pellets, a melter, a feed system, a pump, and a dispensing system. A pressure relief system is built around the pump, which may redirect liquefied adhesive from the pump outlet to the pump inlet. 1. An adhesive dispensing system and method are configured to melt adhesive on demand and maintain the adhesive in a liquid state between dispensing cycles. The dispensing system includes a dispensing applicator with a manifold passage, a receiving device including a receiving chamber for holding a small amount of solid adhesive at the dispensing applicator and a first heating device for melting the adhesive on demand, and a second heating device at the manifold to maintain the temperature of the melted adhesive before dispensing. The receiving device is positioned adjacent to or partially nested within a manifold of the dispensing applicator such that the melted adhesive is delivered directly into the dispensing applicator. The second heating device applies heat energy to maintain the adhesive in the manifold passage as a liquid.
