Provided are a polymer, including metal atoms for forming metallic nano particles through a simple process within a short time at a low production cost for commercial purposes, and a polymer solution including the polymer. 1. A polymer having the following chemical formula:{'br': None, 'sup': 'Y', 'sub': n', 'm, '(—MFR—)'}{'sup': 'Y', 'where Mis one or more of a metal atom;'}{'sub': 'n', 'FRis R—X or F—R—X, wherein R is a substituted or non-substituted C1-C15, wherein X is a hydrophilic functional group or a hydrophobic functional group, wherein F is one or more of a functional group each of which is dependently selected from the group consisting of a thiol group, an amine group, a phosphine group, and a combination thereof; and'}m is a natural number ranging from 5 to 10,000.2. The polymer of claim 1 ,wherein the is selected from the group consisting of gold (Au), silver (Ag), ruthenium (Ru), palladium (Pd), platinum (Pt), and copper (Cu).3. The polymer of claim 1 ,{'sub': 'n', 'wherein FRis a silane-containing compound.'}4. The polymer of claim 3 ,{'sub': 'n', 'wherein FRis selected from the group consisting of: 3-mercaptopropyl trimethoxysilane (3-MPTMS), 3-mercaptopropyl triethoxysilane, 11-mercaptoundecyl trimethoxysilane, mercaptomethyl methyl diethoxysilane, octyltrichlorosilane (OTS), hexamethyldisilazane (HMDS), octadecyltrichlorosilane (ODTS), (3-aminopropyl)trimethoxysilane (APS), (3-aminopropyl)triethoxysilane, N-(3-aminopropyl)-dimethyl-ethoxysilane (APDMES), perfluorodecyltrichlorosilane (PFS), mercaptopropyl trimethoxysilane (MPTMS), N-(2-aminoethyl)-3aminopropyltrimethoxysilane, (3-trimethoxysilylpropyl)diethylenetriamine, octadecyltrimethoxysilane (OTMS), (heptadecafluoro-1,1,2,2-tetrahydrodecyl)trichlorosilane (FDTS), dichlorodimethylsilane (DDMS), N-(trimethoxysilylpropyl) ethylenediamine triacetic acid, hexadecanethiol (HDT), epoxyhexyltriethoxysilane, and a combination thereof.'}5.
