Adhesive tape, more particularly wrapping tape for bundling cables in cars, having a tapelike rolled carrier, and having a coating of adhesive applied to one or both sides of the carrier. The carrier takes the form of a hot-calendered woven fabric. 1. An adhesive wrapping tape for bundling cables in cars , the tape comprising:a tape-like rolled substrate, andan adhesive coating on one or both faces of the substrate, the substrate being designed as a hot calendered fabric.2. The adhesive tape according to claim 1 , wherein the substrate is hot calendered using an arrangement consisting of a least two rolls claim 1 , wherein at least one roll is heated in order to flatten at least one face of the substrate.3. The adhesive tape according to claim 2 , wherein one cold roll and one roll heated to about 100° C. to 350° C. claim 2 , and preferably to about 150° C. to 250° C. are situated opposite one another in the calender claim 2 , forming a nip through which the substrate is to pass.4. The adhesive tape according to claim 3 , wherein in the nip a pressure of up to 10 MPa and in particular from about 0.1 to 0.3 MPa is generated to act on the substrate.5. The present disclosure provides example differential adhesive systems, which may be used with various device covers. An example differential adhesive comprises an intermediary body having a first side and an opposite second side, a first adhesive layer attached to the first side, and a second adhesive layer attached to the second side. The first adhesive layer comprises an acrylic adhesive, and the second adhesive layer comprises a rubber adhesive secured to the plastic article. In some embodiments, the intermediary body comprises a polyester film. The acrylic adhesive of the first adhesive layer may comprise a cross-linked pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive and include a peel adhesion of approximately 40 ounces per inch to approximately 60 ounces per inch. The first adhesive layer is may be configured for releasable attachment to the surface of the first object. The second adhesive layer may be configured for permanent attachment to the plastic article.
