Wenn eine Gleitoberfläche der Harzzusammensetzung mit einer Oberfläche eines Gegenelements während eines Gleitvorgangs in Kontakt kommt, wird das Fluorharz einer Scherung unterworfen und Scherstücke (Abriebpulver) werden produziert und auf das Calciumfluorid übertragen, das an der Gleitoberfläche der Harzzusammensetzung freiliegt, wodurch ein übertragener Film des Fluorharzes 2 gebildet wird, der den Reibungskoeffizienten verringert.

The invention provides a grease composition containing a base oil, a thickener and an additive, characterized in that the base oil has a kinetic viscosity at 40° C. of 50 to 200 mm 2 /s; the thickener contains a diurea compound represented by formula (I): R 1 —NHCONH—R 2 —NHCONH—R 3 (wherein R 2 is a divalent aromatic hydrocarbon group having 6 to 15 carbon atoms, and R 1 and R 3 , which may be the same or different, represent cyclohexyl group or a straight-chain or branched alkyl group having 8 to 22 carbon atoms); and the additive is at least one selected from the group consisting of a metal salt of naphthenic acid, a salt of a fatty acid having 6 to 10 carbon atoms and an aliphatic amine having 6 to 10 carbon atoms, and a metal salt of an organic sulfonic acid. The composition of the invention shows excellent anti-fretting properties under the conditions of ordinary temperature to low temperature (e.g., −50° C., preferably about −40° C.).

The emulsions produced by the aqueous salt solutions, the moderately hydrophilic single-phase compounds, or the combination thereof provide targeted boundary layer organizers that significantly enhance the anti-wear and/or anti-friction properties of the base lubricant by decreasing wear and/or friction of sliding and/or rolling surfaces at boundary layers.

By addition of a polar molecule additive, yield stresses under electric field are improved by over 50% while the current density is reduced to less than a quarter of the original GER. The reversible response time still remains the same, and the sedimentation stability is greatly enhanced. The zero field viscosity of the modified GER fluid remains the same as that of the original GER fluid without the additive. The improved GER characteristics improve general functionality as an electrical-mechanical interface, attendant with applications to car clutches, fluid brakes, and vehicle shock absorbers.

The present invention relates to light color, shelf-stable liquid compositions of overbased calcium carboxylate soaps and a process for their preparation. The inventive soaps are prepared by neutralizing calcium base in a mixture of two different aliphatic carboxylic acids and carbonating the mixture in the presence of a non-polar hydrocarbon solvent and a polar organic solvent as a promoter under controlled temperature conditions. The overbased calcium carboxylate soaps of the invention contain 20%-90% by weight of C 7 to C 25 saturated carboxylic acids, which are branched on carbon 2, and between 1% and 20% by weight short chain saturated carboxylic acids. These liquid compositions have light colors and excellent heat stability. They can be used as anticorrosion/antirust additives, and paint dryers and stabilizers, in paints, coatings and lubricants, as well as other applications.

A lubricating oil composition for a shock absorber comprising:a base oil; anda friction adjusting agent, whereinthe friction adjusting agent contains zinc dithiophosphate and pentaerythritol,the zinc dithiophosphate has at least one secondary alkyl group having 3 to 5 carbon atoms.2. The lubricating oil composition for the shock absorber according to claim 1 , whereinthe friction adjusting agent is formed for adjusting a friction coefficient of the composition in a range of 0.02 to 0.05 by combining the pentaerythritol in a proportion of 0.2 wt. % or more based on a total composition with the zinc dithiophosphate.3. The lubricating oil composition for the shock absorber according to claim 1 , whereinpentaerythritol ester is contained in 1 wt. % or more.5. The lubricating oil composition for the shock absorber according claim 1 , to whereinthe pentaerythritol contains pentaerythritol tetra ester in a largest proportion or in a proportion of 50 wt. % or more.6. The lubricating oil composition for the shock absorber according to claim 2 , whereinthe fiction adjusting agent is formed so as to adjust an amplitude dependent index in a range of 0.3 to 3.0 in addition to the friction coefficient of the composition.7. The present invention discloses with the development of ecofriendly and biodegradable lubricant formulation useful for micro electro mechanical systems and process thereof. The new generation Mineral oil free lubricant formulations were developed by esterification of polyols such as 2,2-dimethyl, 1,3-Propanediol, 2,2-diethyl-1,3-propane diol, and aliphatic di carboxylic acids like adipic and azelaic and with mono alcohol, using heterogeneous catalyst Indion 140 with cation exchange properties. The said formulation has a viscosity in the range of 31 to 47 cSt at 40° C., a high viscosity index of 139-196, pour point of approximately <−39° C. with a multifunctional EP additive of recommended dose of 1.5-4%. These new generation lubricants exhibited excellent biodegradability, a high viscosity index, and a low pour point, a high flash point, good lubricity, good oxidative stability, very good protection, against wear, no evaporation loss, good adherence to metal, corrosion inhibiting characteristics and suitability for use with commercial additives. In addition the products are non toxic to the sewage bacteria. 1. A mineral oil free lubricant formulation , wherein the formulation comprises:polyol complex ester selected from the group consisting of 2,2-diethyl, 1,3-Propane-Di azelaic-2-ethyl-1-hexanoate, 2,2-dimethyl, 1,3-propane-Di adipic-2-ethyl-1-hexanoate, and mixture thereof; andoptionally an antioxidant; andoptionally an additive.2. The formulation as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said formulation comprises:(i) polyol complex esters in the range of 94% to 100%;(ii) antioxidant in the range of 0-2%; and(iii) additive in the range of 0 to 4%.3.
