The present invention relates to a fuel cell including: an anode electrode; a cathode electrode; and an electrolyte or an ion exchange membrane between the anode electrode and the cathode electrode, the cathode electrode using a Fe oxidation-reduction pair as an oxidizer, the Fe oxidation-reduction pair being regenerated by an oxidative material. The fuel cell of the present invention can reduce manufacturing costs by removing the need for the use of a noble metal catalyst and can improve energy conversion efficiency with high power density. In addition, the fuel cell of the present invention can decompose the oxidative materials such as NOx, Cl2, Br2, O3, and the like.
