The present invention provides a method for producing single dispersion high purity silica nano-particles having an average particle size of 300-2000 nm. The method comprises the steps of: (a) obtaining a transparent silica precursor solution by mixing a silica precursor with a solvent; (b) producing silica nano-particles by adding and hydrolyzing a catalyst in a precursor solution; and (c) drying and calcining the silica nano-particles. Moreover, the silica nano-particles, which include single dispersion high purity silica fine particle cores having an average particle diameter of 300-2000 nm and shells obtained by uniformly coating one or more biocompatible materials selected from the group consisting of HA, FA, FHA, CIA, CHA, AP, TCP, OCP, DCPD, DCP, CPPD, zirconium phosphate, aluminium phosphate, zinc phosphate, and ZnO on the surfaces of the cores, can be applied to various fields including a dental bone transplant material, an implant, an artificial joint surface coating material, ...
