... 본 발명은 pH를 이미지화하는 이광자 형광 프로브에 관한 것으로서, 본 발명의 이광자 형광 프로브는 벤즈이미다졸 구조 유도체를 기반으로 하여 산성 영역의 pH 및 그 변화량을 감지한다. 상기 프로브는 고유 등방사성 점, 적은 독성 및 높은 광안정성을 가지며, pH 4-7에서 이광자 형광의 색 변화를 나타내면서 pH를 0.001 단위로 측정할 수 있다. 본 발명에 따른 이광자 형광 프로브는 살아있는 세포와 생체 조직 내부에 선택적으로 염색됨과 동시에 산성 pH와 반응하여 강한 형광의 색 변화(청색-녹색)를 나타낸다. 또한 물에 대한 높은 용해도와 적은 분자량으로 인하여 세포에 쉽게 로딩될 수 있다. 또한, 60분 이상의 시간에 걸쳐 생체 세포 및 100-200 μm 깊이의 생체 조직에서 선택적으로 pH를 탐지할 수 있으므로 생체 세포 또는 온건한 생체 조직 내의 pH의 분포 및 활성을 비율영상으로 조사할 수 있다. 이에 따라 pH의 정량적인 분석이 가능하고 서로 다른 시료의 비교 분석이 가능하게 됨으로써 pH와 관련된 생명과학 연구와 질병의 조기 진단, 진단 시약과 치료제의 개발 등에 크게 기여할 수 있다.
