The disclosed apparatus includes: an image acquisition unit which acquires an image of a user's body; a display device communication unit which receives information on whether a virtual image is displayed from the display device; a determination unit which determines whether the user attempts an interaction with respect to the virtual image through the use of the image acquired by the image acquisition unit and the information on whether a virtual image is displayed, the information being received by the display device communication unit; and a tactile sensation provision unit which provides tactile sensation to a preset body part of the user on the basis of a determination result of the determination unit. According to the disclosed apparatus, it is possible to provide a user with a realistic interaction with respect to a virtual image.
