The present invention is technically characterized by providing: a step of synthesizing a selenium compound-polyethylene glycol complex by covalently bonding polyethylene glycol with a selenium compound; a step of synthesizing a block copolymer of a polyethylene glycol-selenium compound-polymeric compound by combining a polymeric compound; and a radioprotector-combined radiation responsive nanoparticle using the block copolymer, and a preparation method therefor. The radioprotector-combined nanoparticle according to the present invention has the features of being capable of preventing adverse effects on the human body by preventing the release of a radioprotector in the absence of radiation exposure, and protecting tissues and cells from radiation exposure by effectively releasing a radioprotector in the presence of radiation exposure.
