Реферат: To bring about automatic switching on and off of the percussion mechanism of an electropneumatic rotary percussion hammer drill with a minimum of complexity and in a manner virtually free from wear, the invention provides the following: The drill spindle gearwheel is assigned a coupling disc (14) which is subjected to the action of a restoring spring (11), is arranged non-rotatably but axially displaceably on the countershaft (4) and is provided with driving pins (15) and which, by axial displacement of the drill spindle gearwheel (6) when adjusting sleeve (28) with plate (30) is set for rotating percussion drilling, is axially displaced at the same time as a result of a pressing force exerted on the drive spindle (8) by the tool and thereby engages with a corresponding coupling part (19) of the drive shaft (17), mounted on the countershaft to be rotatable with a ..., for the wobble drive (18) actuating the percussion mechanism (Fig. 1). <IMAGE>
