Реферат: 1476804 Penial implant B STRAUCH A E BLOOMBERG and S Z FREED 6 Aug 1974 [12 Oct 1973] 34487/74 Heading A5R An implant enabling a human male to achieve penis erection, comprises a flexible elastomeric tube 18 with one closed end 20 and an open end connected to a flexible container 22 for a fluid, e.g. air or silicone oil, a plate 28, Fig. 3, situated adjacent the open end with a plurality of relatively small holes 30, and a transverse, flexible wall 24 having a central aperture 26. covering all except the central hole in the plate 28 when the wall is not distended. In use, the container, 22, located in the scrotum 12, is compressed and the flexible wall 24 distends to let the fluid flow through the holes 30 to achieve an erection, the erection being maintained for a considerable period as the rate of back-flow of the fluid now only through the aperture 26 and the central hole in the plate 28 is comparatively small. In a modification, Figs. 5-8 (not shown) a plate (44) with a non- return valve (50) in its central opening (48), and openings (46) surrounding the valve, is in contact with an annular wall (60) of the tube, stiffened by a springy stainless steel ring (62) so that once the erection is achieved, the back-flow of the fluid through the plate (44) is prevented till the tube is manipulated externally so as to create a pressure to deflect the annular wall (60) away from the openings (46).
