Реферат: 14,894. Lee, C., and Dutton, R. June 29. Ornaments.- Relates to the mounts and vases of metallic bedsteads, and to jardiniÞres, &c. A porcelain ring A, Fig. 2, moulded to the desired configuration and glazed to a suitable colour, is secured between the brass parts B, B' by spinning the flanges b<2> over beads a<2> on the ring. In a modification, Fig. 6, parts of the porcelain are visible through perforations b<4> in the part B<1> which may be of one piece and is placed over and spun on to the ring A. These parts of the ring may be raised so as to project through the perforations as shown at a<4>, Figs. 5 and 8, and the ring is made in two or more parts which are secured in the vase or knob by wedging - pieces and the ordinary plastic filling. A hole may be provided in the porcelain ring of such mounts as those at the top of bedstead pillars to receive the end rail.
