Advertising; signs.-Vanes A having wings A<2>, A<3>, Fig. 3, at right-angles to one another, are pivoted on a panel or tablet E as shown in Fig. 1, and are connected by arms D with a bar C by means of which the vanes may be oscillated simultaneously, so that either wing of each vane will abut on the panel, and, the wings having different inscriptions &c. on each side, different advertisements or signs will be thus brought to view according to the position of the observer, and the position of the wings. When viewed from the front, different parts of the panel will also be visible according to the position of the wings. The device may be illuminated by electric lamps, which may form words &c.
