Improvements in roof aerials for motor and like vehicles

[Class 40 (v)] A vehicle roof aerial comprises two (or more) metal rods or strips a, b, secured at one end to a metal insert in an insulator e fixed to the vehicle roof, the rods being bent and positioned as shown so as to impart a streamline effect to the whole installation. The insulator is secured to the roof by a single screwed stud serving also as the lead-in connection. Additional support is supplied by insulated brackets h, j secured to the roof by cement or by sucker action. When the elements consist of flat or unequal section material, the strips may be twisted so that the long dimension is horizontal at the front and vertical at the rear to reduce the capacity to the roof.
