Теплопроводящие элементы в виде площадок (10) расположены между светодиодами и трубками. Каждая трубка образует открытый проход без препятствий сквозь проемы между лицевой стороной и тыльной стороной подложки. A flat, rectangular cross section extension on the rear of the lamp housing is fitted with air inlet louvres at the top. A detachable air blower is clipped to the louvres, with the size of the blower chosen to suit the heat dissipation of the particular electrodes used. An LED retrofit lamp which has one end which is configured to engage a standard light bulb socket, such as an E26 or E39 socket. The other end provides a plurality of LED'sa center section of LED's pointing downward, and a plurality of LED's going around a perimeter of the center section, generally pointing outward. Preferably, the LED retrofit lamp 10 includes circuitry which is configured to take the voltage received from the light bulb socket, and use that voltage to drive the LED's as well as, preferably, a fan which tends to keep the LED retrofit lamp within prescribed temperature tolerances. Preferably, a protective shield, such as a plastic protective shield, covers and protects the LED's. Furthermore, preferably the LED retrofit lamp includes louvers which allow the fan inside to grab air from the outside, and allows the hot air to escape. Preferably, the LED retrofit lamp is generally lightweight.

Heat insulating material is provided around the LED module to prevent high temperature of an engine compartment from being transmitted to the LED module. The air passage has vents provided on the front bumper and the front fender of said car, so that the heat sink module has enhanced thermal performance due to natural or forced air convection. A fan or water sprayer may be provided near the heat sink module to improve the thermal performance. Therefore, the LED module may work at a lowered ambient air temperature to have a prolonged lifetime.

Systems and methods for reducing lamp restrike time are provided. In a lighting apparatus having a housing, a reflector, and a lamp positioned so that at least a portion of the outer jacket of the lamp is within the reflector, a circulating device is operated when the lamp is off and a temperature inside the housing is above a predefined temperature. The circulating device circulates air around the outer jacket of the lamp to cool the lamp so the restrike time is reduced without the need for a starting device with a starting voltage high enough to restart the lamp when the lamp is hot.

A first air-guiding channel is formed between a peripheral surface of the frame and an inner peripheral surface of the housing. The heat sink is coupled to the fan and has a first surface and a second surface, with the first surface facing the impeller. Also, a second air-guiding channel is formed between an outer periphery of the heat sink and an inner surface of the frame. The light-emitting element is disposed on the second surface of the heat sink. In such arrangement, used components and structural complexity of the lamp can be significantly reduced so as to be convenient in assemblage.

LED lamp structures and lighting fixtures are provided, particularly “down” or recessed lighting fixtures, street lamp fixtures, “work-lights” and automobile headlights. A fan and a heat sink are provided with each lamp and the LED array is attached directly to the heat sink. The fans used preferably are computer cooling fans which are particularly small, efficient and inexpensive. The fans preferably force air through the fins sideways. The fans in some embodiments are recessed among the fins of the heat-sink so as to conserve space and obtain direct flow of air through the fins. The low-volume exhaust from the fans is released directly into the air space or housing in which the lamps are mounted without the need for special ducting, thus taking advantages of the naturally-occurring crevices and opening for all or part of air escape openings.

The pods can be easily removed for cleaning, maintenance, and transport, for example. A light strip including multiple LEDs can be mounted to a surface of the heat sink on both sides. Each pod has a portion cutaway such that when the pods are mounted to the heat sink, the cutaway portions align with the light strips. Thus, when mounted, the light strip can be adjacent to or protrude into an interior cavity of the pod. The interior surfaces of the pods are shaped to redirect light in a particular output profile. The assembly may be mounted to a ceiling and used as an overhead fixture designed to efficiently light an aisle in a retail space or a storage facility, for example.

The present disclosure includes an apparatus and method relating to LED fixtures having an LED module capable of operating at a temperature. The LED module is also capable of being operated within a desired temperature range having an upper limit and a lower limit. A fan is operable for cooling the LED module when the temperature of the LED module approaches the upper limit. A heater is operable for heating the LED module when the temperature of the LED module approaches the lower limit. A heat sink may be in thermal communication with the LED module such that the fan may cool and the heater may heat the heat sink. The wind turbine may have a convenient, versatile mounting system with three adjustable legs supporting a central component, and the spokes of the wind turbine may be slotted for easy assembly with vanes. 1. A method of removing carbon dioxide from substantially ambient air by placing at least one material capable of reacting with carbon dioxide to produce fertilizer in the path of movement of substantially ambient air.2.
