Organic electroluminescent element

Disclosed is an organic electroluminescent element which comprises: a positive electrode; a negative electrode; and at least a hole transport layer, a first light emitting layer, a second light emitting layer and an electron transport layer, which are arranged between the positive electrode and the negative electrode. The first light emitting layer contains a first host material and a first light emitting material. The second light emitting layer is formed continuous to the first light emitting layer on the negative electrode side thereof, and contains a second host material and a second light emitting material. The second host material is a monoazine derivative, a diazine derivative or a triazine derivative, and the first light emitting material and the second light emitting material are metal complexes that are different from each other.
