PACKING STRUCTURE FOR A FLUID CONTACTING COLUMN AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREOF

The invention relates to a packing structure intended for a fluid contacting column. The packing structure forms a volumn including an ordered arrangement of bundles of tubes having a diameter of between 5 and 50 mm. The walls of the tubes contain holes arranged so as to promote the circulation and mixing of the fluids in the structure. Said holes are disposed in rectangles having sides measuring between 2 and 45 mm and each of said holes occupies an area greater than 2 mm2.
