According to the present invention, an overhead air grinding apparatus comprises: a body frame vertically erected towards a grinding work surface, and equipped with moving wheels; an air grinder composed of a grinding part disposed on an upper part of the body frame to be supported by the body frame in close contact with a grinding work surface, and has a grinding plate rotated by the air with high pressure and a powder collecting part disposed in the body frame to be connected to the grinding part, collecting powders generated from the rotation of the grinding plate; and a leveling unit disposed between the body frame and the grinding part in a method such that the grinding plate may be in close contact with the grinding work surface by adjusting a height of the grinding part of the air grinder, and the grinding part tilted when the grinding work surface is not flat.
