Реферат: 1383201 Glass ceramics PILKINGTON BROS Ltd 16 Feb 1972 [19 Feb 1971] 5018/71 Heading C1M In the manufacture of fine-grained glass ceramic material from a thermally crystallizable glass in which the glass is shaped, cooled and subsequently heated to crystallization temperature, the shaped glass is supported against loss of its shape throughout subsequent processing which comprises heating to a temperature T n between Tg and Tg+ 200 C. where Tg is the transformation temperature of the glass, to develop a uniform dispersion of embryonic centres of incipient crystal growth and then rapidly heating at a controlled rate in the range 30 C./min. to 480 C./min. to crystallization temperature in the range 800 to 1250C. to effect crystal growth. The glass may be held at, or may pass through, the temperature T n . Glass sheet supported on molten tin is disclosed. Glass compositions of the Li 2 OAl 2 O 3 -SiO 2 type are used with nucleating agent P 2 O 5 and/or ZrO 2 or TiO 2 .
