Rotary regenerative heat exchangers
Реферат: 1335205 Thermal regenerators SVENSKA ROTOR MASKINER AB 2 Feb 1972 [2 Nov 1970] 51926/70 Heading F4K In a regenerative heat exchanger plate pack comprising a plurality of identical superimposed plates 10, each plate has parallel, evenly spaced 8-shaped portions forming double ridges 14 separated by flat plate portions 12 of width greater than the height of the crest of each ridge as measured from the median plane B of the plate. The crests are flattened at 16, and the ridges of one plate extend transversely to the ridges of adjacent plates so that the plates contact each other solely at points spaced along the crests of the ridges. The ridges of adjacent plates extend symmetrically obliquely in opposite directions relative to the general direction of fluid flow indicated by the double arrow A, the ridges forming an angle with the general direction of fluid flow in the range of 15 to 35 degrees. The height of the ridges above the median plane is 1-5 to 4 mm. and the distance between successive ridges is 30 to 60 mm.
