CATALYST FOR CHEMICAL PROCESSES 1 The invention relates to catalysts for chemical processes, for example for the oxidation of ethylene, containing the active phase in the carrier. Catalysts for chemical processes containing the active phase deposited on the carrier are known. chemical process to the formation of overheated catalyst zones or "GQp points". ' Due to local overheating of the catalyst, it is impossible to precisely maintain the desired temperature that is optimal for this process. Temperature fluctuations during the chemical process can lead not only to a decrease in the yield of the target product, but also to the appearance of undesirable products resulting from the development of side reactions. The presence of “hot spots” also increases the amount of carbonaceous deposits on the catalyst surface, thereby reducing its service life. Local overheating of the catalyst causes sintering of the surface, which disrupts its structure. To improve the heat transfer properties of the catalysts, a catalyst is proposed consisting of an active phase in the form of solid particles pressed into the metal strip of lesser hardness than the active phase, which is then given the desired geometric configuration providing a good catalyst conductivity with reagent-5 and low resistance to the flow through the reactor. The active phase is deposited on one or both sides of the metalogical strip. . Catalytic particles are pre-screened through standard 10-100 mesh sieves and then applied to the metal sheet by rolling. The basis for the active phase can be any metal, less solid than the active phase, inert with respect to the reactants and products obtained in the chemical process being carried out, as well as with high thermal conductivity. The metal strip with the active phase applied to it is attached to the geometric 20 configuration, e.g., star-shaped, spiral-shaped, etc., providing good contact and heat transfer when this configuration is set as a liner in the reactor.
