Реферат: 2820. Wilson, T. Feb 3. Tricycles are constructed with two front steering-wheels and a single rear driving-wheel. The front steering-wheels a are mounted on stud-axles clamped in the ends b<2> of a special-shaped fork b<3> b'. A steering-stem b rises from the fork b<3> b<4>, and passes through a steering-socket d fixed to the rear portion of the frame, which consists of a central curved tube d<3>, seat pillar tube d<8>, and rear forks d<7>, d<12>. Handle-bars c are fixed in the usual manner to the steering-stem b. A blade spring e, fixed to the fork b<8>, b<4>, engages projections d<2> on the tube d<3> to produce straight steering. A saddle d<11> and chain gearing h, h' are provided, as shown. The shape of the frame enables the tricycle to be used by either sex.
