Lamp brackets.-A 'lantern bracket or holder which can be mounted upon a vehicle is made adjustable both vertically and laterally, and is also provided with means for resiliently and removably holding the lantern. A piece 4 with undercut grooves 5 is rigidly secured upon the bottom of the vehicle body, and receives the sliding foot 7 of an upright. 6. The upright 6 has an elongated recess 11 and undercut grooves 10 which receive the sliding plate 12 of the support 15. A pin 8 locks the upright in position in the piece 4. The plate 12 is clamped in position by a bolt and nut 13, 14. The support 15 has a base-plate 18 carried on a number of helical springs 19. A reflector 20 is mounted upon the upper end of the plate 12. A hook 22 pivoted on the extreme end of the plate 12 engages the handle of the lantern. An additional extension member 27 may be provided.
