Cameras; shutters.-Relates to a folding-up camera, with mirror focussing-devices, and a blind shutter with two rollers having an aperture adapted to be regulated from outside. The mirror is released simultaneously with the shutter. Fig. 1 shows the camera when open, and Fig. 2 when closed, the mirror C and ground glass plate F<1> folding up within the bellows. The plate H supporting the objective is hinged at H<1> to the main frame B, and is connected to the back by jointed stretchers I. The plate G of the focussing-bellows is formed with a prolongation G' turning back and becoming fixed in order to close the upper part of the apparatus. The tube B' carries the spindle E of the mirror C, which is acted on by the spring D. The blind shutter has a metal frame J. and is provided with two rollers K, K<1>, Fig. 5, without gearing. The opening is regulated by two bands N, N<1> wound upon drums O, O<1> within the roller K. On pressing the end P<11> of the spindle P against the action of the spring P<1>, the drum O<1> is disengaged from the stop R on the roller K and the aperture can be adjusted by turning the knob W. The rollers are arranged at the back of apparatus, leaving between them a space for arranging in the thickness of the shutter a film or plate magazine, so as to allow the shutter to pass in close proximity to the plate. The actuating- handle is fixed to the spindle E, and rests upon an adjusting-screw so that the mirror can be adjusted exactly at 45‹. In operation, the blind is set by turning the knob Wand is retained by a pawl engaging the ratchet-wheel L, Fig. 5, on the roller K. The release of the handle allows the mirror to fly back by the action of a spring D, and simultaneously releases the pawl which engages the ratchet-wheel L.
