Реферат: An adapter (1) and an optical fiber connection assembly, relating to the field of optical fiber communications. The adapter comprises: an adapter body (10), which comprises a connection portion (101), the connection portion (101) being provided with a connection channel (102) matching a connector and a receiving groove (103) in communication with the connection channel (102), and a fastener (17) being movably received in the receiving groove (103); an adapter sleeve (11) sleeved on the connection portion (101), the adapter sleeve (11) having a first state and a second state, when in the first state, the adapter sleeve (11) pressing against the fastener (17) so that a part of the fastener (17) extends into the connection channel (102) in such a manner that said part cannot return, and when the adapter sleeve (11) is in the second state, a relief space for the fastener (17) to exit the connection channel (102) being provided between the adapter sleeve (11) and the opening of the receiving groove (103); an inner pushing ring (12), sleeved on the connection portion (101) and located between the connection portion (101) and the adapter sleeve (11); and a driving device, comprising an adapter pull rope (13) and a first spring (14), the adapter pull rope (13) having one end connected to the adapter sleeve (11), and the first spring (14) having one end pressing against the inner pushing ring (12) and the other end pressing against the adapter sleeve (11). The invention is simple to operate during use, and can meet requirements for high-density arrangement.
