Hollow post for supporting road signs - is made from motor vehicle tyres by cutting notching and joining
Реферат: The flexible hollow post is made from rubber and used for road edging rails or for supporting road signs and lamps. These posts are made from used motor vehicle tyres which are cut transversely and notches (6) are made along the inner longitudinal edges. The treads (12) face inwards and the longitudinal edges are connected to each other to form a hollow composite profile. Longitudinal grooves (13) can be cut in the tread for facilitating bending. The overlapping parts (8) formed by notches (6) are connected to each other in pairs by bolting, riveting or clamping. A spring steel strip can be arranged parallel to the longitudinal edges. A metal rod (10) is used for joining the overlapping notched longitudinal edges of tyres.
