The present invention provides a method for manufacturing a battery cell, comprising the steps of: (i) manufacturing a reference cell configured by an electrolyte, n (n≥2) reference electrodes, and a lithium electrode; (ii) applying a micro current to the reference cell to charge the reference cell, and discharging the reference cell immediately after the charging thereof; (iii) charging the reference cell, up to 40% to 60%, with respect to a capacity which has been discharged in step (ii), thereby simultaneously forming the reference electrodes to have flat potentials; (iv) manufacturing n battery cells by the formed reference electrodes, an electrode assembly, the electrolyte, and a battery case; and (v) measuring, in each of the battery cells, a relative potential between a positive electrode and a formed reference electrode and a relative potential between a negative electrode and the reference electrode.
