Brackets, lamp.-In lamp brackets for motorcycles &c., of the kind carrying the lamp at one end and an acetylene generator at the other, the attachment pieces h are provided with screws j, which act as fastenings and trunnions for the brackets c. Slots d are formed in the brackets in order that they may be placed transversely over the screws j, and recesses c are provided to receive the head of a screw or a spring washer f. When a washer is used, it is prevented from moving axially with respect to the screw by providing a recess in the washer to receive a shoulder on the screw, which is then expanded or spun over. The washer f may be arranged with a nut, in which case the screws j are fixed in or made from an extension of the connecting-piece i.
