Реферат: The invention relates to a warning device (1) for a vehicle, in particular a motor vehicle, having at least one contact element (3), which makes touching contact with a vehicle driver during driving of the vehicle and is in the form of a signal transmitter for transmission of a tactile warning signal to the vehicle driver. In order to increase the perceptibility of the warning signal for the vehicle driver without interfering with other vehicle occupants, it is proposed that a motor (11) be provided in order to move the contact element (3), and that it be possible to deflect the contact element (3) by means of the motor (11) in a simple reciprocating movement. The invention also relates to a method for transmission of a warning signal to a vehicle driver in a vehicle, in particular a motor vehicle, with a contact element (3) which makes touching contact with the vehicle driver during driving of the vehicle transmitting a tactile warning signal to the vehicle driver by carrying out a simple movement.
