Реферат: IMPROVED TURNABLE WINDOW ARRANGEMENTS ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A turnable window arrangement provides a casement connected to a window frame by means of two oppositely directed pivot pins at the end of the casement that is uppermost when the latter is in its normal closed vertical position. The pivot pins slidably engage respective associated guide grooves in the window frame to permit this uppermost end of the casement to be displaced between upper and lower ends of the frame, with movement of the casement to selected pivotal positions. Link arm mechanisms are arranged on respective opposite sides of the casement for support of the latter in the window frame at the selected pivotal positions. The pivot pins are displace-able in the casement against a spring in a direction from the uppermost towards the lowermost end of the casement. This latter feature enables the casement to be pivoted more readily past the dead centre or horizontal position and hence to be turnable through 180°.
