Реферат: 565,114. Loose-leaf binders. VERNON, Inc., S. E. & M. Sept. 28, 1943, No. 15913. Convention date, Dec. 26, 1942. [Class 146 (i)] In a loose-leaf binder of the kind in which the sheets are retained by rotatably mounted slit rings, the part 43, Fig. 6, of each ring, which serves to retain the ring in the binder and is interrupted by a slit 46, is of flattened form or is of greater curvature than the leaf-holding part 42. The rings, which may be of cellulose acetate or other plastic material, are accommodated in curved channels 33, Fig. 2, formed in a retaining- member 24 secured by rivets &c. to the back 23 of the binder. In the rotation of the rings into the open position with the slit 46 uppermost, a snap action occurs as one or other of the shoulders 44, 45 of a ring is forced into the most constricted part of the channel 33. In a modification, the retaining-member 36<1>, Fig. 15, of the rings is formed of flat material, and the back of the binder has a recess 63 to accommodate the shoulders of the rings as they are rotated.
