Реферат: A dismantleable stow-away box and an item of stow-away furniture made with said boxes. The stow-away box (1) of prismatic shape comprises at least two lateral walls (2), a bottom wall (3), an upper wall (4) and a lower wall (5), which are assembled together. The box is noteworthy, in particular, in that the means for assembling at least the bottom wall (3) with the two lateral walls (2) each consist of a groove (16) made at the vertical edge of one of the walls and of a tenon (7) made at the vertical edge of the adjacent wall and intended to penetrate into the groove (6), the said tenon and the said groove each having a mutually complementary trapezoidal cross section, the said cross section having non-parallel sides which slant by an amount which leads to the tenon (7) being locked in the groove (6) by means of a cone effect. <IMAGE>
