Реферат: The invention concerns a vaping device (200) having a replaceable filter member (25) and a replaceable liquid storage pod (10) for convenient insertion into and removal from a vaping device (200). A method for operating the vaping device is also disclosed. The pod (10) comprises a liquid storage compartment (70), a heating coil (50), at least two battery connection points (90); a vaping core (60), and an external tab (20). The external tab guides the pod (10) during insertion into the vaping device (200) and ensures accurate orientation of the pod. When the liquid in the pod has been depleted, the pod (10) may be removed by pushing down on the external tab (20). The pod (10) can then be removed easily from the pod storage compartment (240) of the vaping device (200). The filter member (250) contains a storage capsule (255) for storing at least one of a flavour compound, a medicament, or a vitamin.
