Реферат: The ballast transformer or choke for gas discharge lamps has a T-shaped laminated core enclosed by a U-shaped laminated jacket. The insulated winding is located on the core and its heads or ends have their own insulating hourings (10, 11) on the outside of the laminated jacket. The insulating housings are each constructed from a first part which insulates the winding end from the core and a second part which covers the winding end on the outside. The two inner parts extend down farther than the two outer parts to form latches or pegs which locate in a support rail (6) at the base of the transformer or choke. This configuration reduces the number of insulating components and speeds up mass production.
