Реферат: The induction motor is supplied with variable frequency current from an inverter. The inverter is fed from a d.c. supply produced by a phase controlled rectifier. Motor current control is effected on the rectifier, and speed control on the inverter. As motor torque is a function of flux as well as frequency the motor air gap flux is employed as a control signal. A flux detector converts motor flux into a control signal which is compared with a reference value produced by the command logic. The error is fed through a compensation loop and converted into a control signal to change the inverter frequency such that the flux error tends to zero. Typically the flux error is converted to slip frequency and is compared with actual motor speed to produce the inverter control quantity.
