Реферат: The appts. comprises a boiler which removes heat from e.g. an atomic pile with a relatively long connection in the form of a double concentric tube to a condenser, where the cryogenic, e.g. D2 exchanges heat with a refrigerant liquid, e.g. H2, at a slightly higher pressure, across a barrier. Liquid cryogen from the condenser is collected in a funnel and travels down the inner tube to the boilder where it absorbs heat and travels as vapour up the annular section to be recondensed. A relatively small quantity of expensive cryogen is used, while the problems usually encounted in recirculating condensed liquid against vapour flow are overcome.
