Free standing collapsible triangle signal for traffic hazards - has pivoting legs which fold against sign or deploy as inclined struts
Реферат: The free-standing collapsible reflective triangle (11) signal for warning motorists of temporary highway hazards, has legs (35, 37, 51) which attach via axles (33) to the horizontal triangle base (13) and pivot, either into a retracted position against the triangle, or into deployed positions where they form inclined divergent legs supporting and stabilising the triangle. A flat bar fixed by angle brackets to the triangle base and forms the support for the legs which are of similar but cranked bar. A coplanar mounting of the leg ends via cottered axle pin and shims on an inclined termination of the support bar permits their co-aligned retraction within the periphery of the retracted collapsed triangle, or their rotation through say 110 deg. and 260 deg. resp. into deployed positions. Alternatively, the stand may be a tripod with two long cranked (35, 37) less and one stub leg (51) on triangle base (13) extremities, or a quadruped with two long legs on each extremity.
