Реферат: The invention relates to a device for reducing pollutant components in the exhaust gas of an internal combustion engine, in which a three-way catalyst is arranged in the path of the exhaust gas and an O2 sensor which detects the composition of the exhaust gas is arranged upstream of this catalyst. In addition, an O2 probe is provided as a control sensor downstream of the catalyst in order to effect adjustment of the mean lambda value in the event of deviations from the optimum composition of the fuel/air ratio.
