Improvements relating to hydraulic remote control apparatus
Реферат: 540,911. Pneumatic single stroke apparatus. GREEN, D. S. April 3, 1940, No. 6018. [Class 8 (ii)] [Also in Group XXIX] A telemotor fluid control system, in which the movement of transmitter piston 7 induces a corresponding movement in a receiver piston 6 in a casing connected to the casing 3 of the transmitter system by a pipe line 5, is constructed so that the casing 3 or the casing of the receiver serves as a reservoir for the operating fluid. The invention can be applied to aeroplanes, and the operating oil may be inserted through an opening closed by a plug 22, or if a gaseous fluid is employed a valve replaces the plug. The piston 7 is operated by a rocker plate 11 fitted with a handle 13, and a sealing washer maintains a fluid-tight joint between the plate 11 and the slot in which it works. The piston 7 is kept fluid-tight by packing devices 15, 16, 17, and at the end of an operative stroke of the piston 7 a valve 26 is opened by a rod 29 operated by a lever 31 and a cam on the shaft 12 of the plate 11 in order to permit passage of oil from the casing 3 to the cylinder 4. To balance pressures so that the transmitter will remain in a set position, the plate 11 is spring-loaded by means of a spring 34 located between an anchorage shaft 35 and a member pivoted at 36 to a link 37 which causes the product of leverage and compression to be substantially constant. The casing 3 is flat sided. The receiver can be constructed similarly to the transmitter. Specifications 419,310 and 527,074, [both in Group XXIX], are referred to.
