Реферат: Conventional belt-type powered hand sanding tools leave a wide untreated strip where the floor joins the wall. In the invention the tool has a drivenm roll (9) and a guide roll (7) over which runs the sanding belt (13) supported by the backing plate (11). Also provided at the front end is a small additional roller (20) which is set tangential to the sanding plane. The position of the roller (20) can be adjusted in the horizontal slots (24, 25). Apart from allowing the tool to sand almost up to the wall, the small radius of the additional roller flexes the sanding belt and clears dust from the belt surface. USE/ADVANTAGE - Hand-sanding tool. Reduces expensive hand finishing. It improves finish of the workpiece and increases belt life.
