The present invention relates to a fabric for an airbag which includes polyester fiber, and particularly, to a polyester fabric, the heat resistant constant (x) of which is 1.0 to 6.5 in an uncoated fabric state, to a method for manufacturing the polyester fabric, and to an automotive airbag including the polyester fabric. The fabric of the present invention for an airbag provides good mechanical properties such as high tenacity and high heat resistance, and excellent storability, shape stability and air blocking ability by using a polyester yarn having a low modulus, high strength and high elongation, and minimizes impacts applied to a passenger, thereby enabling the passenger to be safely protected.
