Реферат: 1,265,934. Treating fibres. FARBENFABRIKEN BAYER AG. 14 Aug., 1970 [16 Aug., 1969], No. 39324/70. Headings D1B and DIP. High bulk textile materials of polyacrylonitrile are made by heat treatment in a chlorinated hydrocarbon of polyacrylonitrile fibre materials of different thermal shrinkability e.g. composed of thermally shrunk and unshrunk fibres. The process may be carried out on yarn, woven or knitted fabrics are made-up articles with treatment for 5 to 60 minutes at 90 to 125‹C. Suitable chlorinated hydrocarbons are given as 1, 1, 1, 2-tetrachloroethane, 1, 1, 2, 2-tetrachlorethane, 1, 1-dichloropropane, 1, 2-dichloropropane, 1, 3-dichloropropane, 1, 1, 1-trichloropropane, 1-chlorobutane, 2-chlorobutane 1-chloro-2-methyl propane or 2-chloro-2-methyl propane, 1, 1, 1-trifluoropentachloropropane, chlorobenzene, tetrachloroethylene and trichloroethylene. The treatment bath may also contain 0.01 to 2% by weight of water relative to the weight of the chlorinated hydrocarbon and an emulsifier, further water examples of which are given in the specification. The bath may also contain 0.005 to 1% of a lone aliphatic carboxylic acid e.g. formic or acetic acid. After cooling a basic dyestuff or fluorescent brightening agent for the fibre materials may be added to the bath.
